Safiya Khan is a senior passionate about youth advocacy and community building. She is currently studying Government and International Politics with a minor in History. Last year, she self-published her debut poetry collection “Starlit Storms” which was a #1 New Release in Asian-American Poetry on Amazon. She is currently on a book tour promoting it. Also at Mason, she is on the Mason Votes Online Editorial Team and a poetry and prose editor for Volition, the school’s poetry magazine.
